E-MAIL
FRIENDS Our EB e-mail list is updated often and is the first
place to look for your friends and counselors - present and past! Please
remember to update us if your contact information changes! Do you know
of an old camper or staff member who doesn't have their email listed?
Ask them to send it to us so we can add it to your list.
This
is a great place to
find
out about current projects, add your ideas, ask questions and get answers!
Share your camp experiences on the Camp
EB Forums!
See our collection of EB award patches! If you have a patch that's not listed - please scan it and send it to us.
Can't
scan it? Send it to us (we promise to return it!)
Despite its name, the YMCA is not just for Young Christian Men. It is, however, as the the YMCA's history illustrates, an association of members who come
together with a common understanding of our mission and a common
commitment to our vision of building strong kids, strong families
and strong communities. If you are interested in seeing more about YMCA Camps around Michigan:
This
website consists of over 1500 pages! We have stories, patches, photos,
movies, and two entire books on this website! Just like Camp itself, we
are always under construction, so please excuse our mess, and please, keep
an eye out for links that don't work. If you find one, please contact us |

EB 100th Reunion 2009:
Who has RSVP'd?
Enter the raffle to stay in the Lazy W or Cooper's Coop, June 18 - 21, 2009 Camp EB is nearly 100 years old... Are you? We are looking for the oldest camper in our Alumni Association! See if you can beat this: Congratulations to Robert O'Hearn that attended camp as a staff member in 1939 and to Clayton Root who attended camp in the summer of 1943!

Upgrades and Renovations 2008:
Storm CleanUp Camp is looking super! A ton of progress has been made since our storms this past year!
We're just waiting for the grass to grow.
Check out some of the work that has been going on!
Work Weekend Our next work weekend is scheduled for September 13, 2008. Our work weekends have been growing in numbers and our ability to help camp out has been greatly appreciated. Camp will provide housing, breakfast, and lunch on 9-13-08. If you think you will be attending please let me know as soon as you know.
Fire Circle The Jonathan Rich Fire Circle
is complete! Having the grate made specifically for the
this handmade fire circle is the last piece of the puzzle. The
end of the period camp fire will really be something to see now
that the grate is in place. Thanks to the Rich family for their
support and love of Camp Eberhart.
Disc Golf Course Another casualty of the fall storms was the
camp's disc golf course. Fallen trees had just made the
course impossible to play. BUT thanks to Tim Sylvain from Three Rivers, has laid out a whole new course.
Practice discs have been donated
by Hacienda Restaurants.
Join us in a game of disc golf won't you?
Your Alumni Association is
donating $43,000 towards a $67,000 project for new roofs on all the stone
cabins, the Haunted House, Wolf Den, Dave's House and the Craft
Shop in Gregory Lodge. Construction has almost been completed!
See the Repairs!
Pete Fournier is
also working on replacing all the doors on the stone cabins.
Pete is a wonderful asset to camp. Another reason he was awarded
the George Cooper Award!

CREATE A LEGACY The Camp Eberhart Alumni Association
often hears from it's alumni about the important role which the
Alumni Association plays in the lives of those that go to Camp
Eberhart. Alumni and friends often choose to give something back
in the form of a legacy gift to support the Association's and
Camp's mission These gifts will help ensure the future of Camp
Eberhart. Please consider using the following language on your
IRA, insurance policy or other beneficiary designation forms; or
providing it to your attorney for inclusion in your WILL or
living trust: "I / We (e.g. % of your estate, $
amount, residual) to the Camp Eberhart Alumni Association, Inc.
a non-profit organization located in South Bend, IN." For further information or any
